British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak recorded a New Year’s message for the British, stylized as the movie “Home Alone”. The video was published on: Youtube channel Editions of The Telegraph.
The video begins in the statesman’s empty office at his Downing Street home in London. He finishes his work and says loudly: “Is there anyone here?” Making sure no one is around, Sunak enjoys the festive atmosphere alone. He throws a ball into a pyramid of empty Coca-Cola cans and eats spaghetti with maple syrup while watching the Christmas movie Elf.
The video also features Larry the cat, a permanent Downing Street resident who serves as the residence’s head mouse. The phone then rang in the press office and Sunak allegedly mocked The Sun’s political editor Harry Cole, to whom he replied: “Harry, you’ve called the wrong number.”
The US premiere of the comedy Home Alone starring Macaulay Culkin took place on November 10, 1990. Three films in total were released.
