Actor Yuri Baturin admitted in the program “The Stars Aligned” that he once celebrated the New Year in intensive care.
Baturin said he was stabbed in the stomach around 5 a.m. on New Year’s Day. The argument broke out over a girl.
According to the artist, the wound was very serious and there was a large amount of blood loss, but he was saved by a surgeon nicknamed Koschey. The artist explained that the situation did not end badly due to his good physical condition, which helped him last longer during the operation.
“I am recovering in the intensive care unit. I’m thinking about how to define myself and I’m coming to my senses. I shout to the entire ICU: “Happy New Year!” A nurse comes in and says: “What a new year! It’s already Christmas.” After I got injured, I was in a coma for a week and came to my senses on Christmas day,” the actor shared.
