Director Nikita Mikhalkov said that he does not consider Eldar Ryazanov’s work as cinema. The director shared his opinion YouTube interview Nadezhda Yay.

“I cannot call Ryazanov’s cinema a cinema. For me, this is not a movie,” said Mikhalkov.

The director said that Eldar Ryazanov’s films are good in terms of drama, so they are “good and fun to watch”.

“But cinema is different. It’s a living thing. <…> Breathing and music,” the director noted.

Mikhalkov declared that films should be in the cinema, as Eldar Ryazanov did. The director’s best film is the comedy “The Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath!” He stated that he thought it was. – Mikhalkov emphasized that everything coincides in it: both dramaturgy and good performance skills.

It turned out to be the work of director Anna Melikyan “Anna’s Feelings”. The series tells the story of an ordinary worker in the Perm chocolate factory who begins to hear the voices of extraterrestrial civilizations.
