“There is strict censorship in China, so there are no sex scenes in dramas and there never will be. In the near future, of course. Bed scenes were not common in Korean dramas before, but now they are starting to appear. Expert, I would say that in some places it is downright erotic.
At the same time, Krasnov dispelled the myth that the series is only about emotion, romance and irresistible sweetness. He admitted that the name actually comes from the word “drama”, but it also has a variety of genres in Asian content, both horror and crime stories.
“In addition to romance, there are also mystical dramas in Korea. In China there is even more diversity: from e-sports and friendship to Tomb Raiders, for example,” said the expert.
Krasnov explained that Korean dramas have become popular in Russia due to their emotional plots. But the expert did not attribute the interest of Russians to Chinese projects only to this – he believes that more natural dramas are produced in China, which attract the audience in Russia.
“The drama is an ordinary Asian TV series. Mostly just called drama here. For example, the same goes for anime. In our country, this is a specific genre, but in Japan it is entirely cartoons,” Krasnov emphasized.
