— Tell us about your character Denchik in the TV series “FC Rodina”. O How one? Was it easy to play him?
— Yes, it was easy to portray him, thanks to the director Ivan Plechev, who has an intuition for people and chooses the characters so that they are fully ourselves. Vanya has a great sense of tempo and humor and that’s important!
— Before the series was released, you described it as a unique project. What makes it unique?
“Having been created by a young team, it conveyed a certain spirit of freedom, lightness and motivation. It was a pleasure to work together!
— According to the scenario, the action takes place on the Russia-China border. Where did the shooting actually take place?
— We shot in Nizhny Novgorod, which is a wonderful city. It opened to me from an incredible angle, a real resort.
— In one of the first episodes you had to swim at night. It is very possible that your tooth does not fit your tooth! Was it really cold?
– Yes, I didn’t even need to play much. We shot for five shifts and it was very cold but it was great.
— What was the most difficult thing on the set? Both physically and mentally?
– These are just five shifts in cold water. Interestingly, we shot near the cemetery. The border the viewer sees is not the Chinese border, but the edge of the cemetery. Other than this shooting, I don’t know under what other circumstances I would shop next to a cemetery.
— If you have any other memorable stories about the shooting of the series, tell us!
— The hardest part was not being able to reach the goal from 11 meters. No matter how badly I played in life, all five of the balls flew treacherously into the goal.
— Did the authors’ sense of humor match yours? Did the jokes actually make you laugh?
– Yes, of course, it was very funny to me.
— Under a photo taken with Zoya Berber on social networks, the question “do homeless people sleep on it?” You asked the question because he is a “hot ass”. How close do you have to be to a person to be worthy of such humor?
— She is quite close, because I proposed to her and now she is my bride.
— Almost 10 years ago Blagoveshchensk (a city on the border with China) was deprived of the only professional football club in the Amur region, “Amur-2010”. This story seems to be the starting point of the series’ plot. Do you think the program can draw attention to the problem of provincial clubs closing down due to lack of funding? So should sitcoms fulfill this function?
“Of course, I think you can draw attention to the situation through humor and ridicule of pressing issues. It seems to me that this could also boost the morale of the state teams because there are some incredible guys playing there. A crew from Nizhny was shooting with us; They were so kind and friendly! I think there are such clubs in every city in our country and it is great. So, if our series motivates at least one of these, we have done our job.
— Do you follow football? A St. As a resident of St. Petersburg, are you a Zenit fan?
“I won’t say I’m a super fan, but of course I support Zenit.” I even remember being in the stadium, although I missed the goal because I was distracted. But I was caught up in the atmosphere of the stadium, it’s incredible.
-What sports do you do?
— I have been water skiing since 2014 and it is a great sport that exercises both body and soul. I have my own wake park in St. Petersburg. A great place!
— In the Russian version of the Turkish TV series “Kapımı Çal” you will take part in the role of the villain Obukhov (in the original – Kaan Karadağ). Why did you decide not to watch the series and take something from the original character?
— I didn’t want to adopt the tone of the Turkish version, I wanted to preserve our originality, which would be completely different.
— Why do you find your attractiveness “negative”? How does this manifest itself?
– It just exists, that’s all. I have a rather harsh face type and a heavy appearance, so it seems to me that I am unlikely to play a positive hero, he definitely does not suit me (laughs).
— When you went to the casting, did you see yourself in the role of Serkan Bolat, or did you immediately understand that you would play the antagonist?
— I immediately realized that I was definitely not Serkan Bolat in this series – which comes down to the issue of appearance and type.
— Do you think that the creators of the series made the right decision in choosing Nikita Volkov and Liana Grib for the main roles? Are you friends?
– We communicate well with Nikita Volkov, he is a great actor, a great person and a family man, there is a lot to learn from him. I think Serkan definitely did justice to his role, he did it very well.
— Throughout your career, you managed to act with many famous Russian actors. Which of your partners impressed you the most and which was most comfortable to work with?
— Of course Konstantin Khabensky. No matter how trite it sounds, he is really a very neat, good-natured, sensitive person and does not get tired of his craft in any way!
— Do you keep in touch with your ex-girlfriend Victoria Agalakova, who starred in “Epidemic”, “Patient Zero” and other big projects? Are you following his progress?
“I’m absolutely happy for him, he’s a great guy and has a great life but we don’t keep in touch.”
