Three-time Emmy nominee Pedro Pascal is in talks with Marvel to play superhero team leader Reed Richards in Fantastic Four. This was reported by Deadline.
The publication’s sources emphasize that although Pascal has a busy schedule at the moment, “everything is going in the right direction.” In the near future, the star of the Last Of Us franchise will return to film the sequel to Ridley Scott’s Gladiator, and in 2024 to film the second season of the acclaimed show based on Zach Cregger’s computer game and thriller Gun.
Deadline states that filming on Fantastic Four is planned to begin in early 2024. The film will be directed by Matt Shakman (“The Edge,” “House”). The premiere of the film is planned to be held in 2025.
