Anatoly Yabbarov played mostly episodic roles, but his characters were bright and memorable. Thanks to the special texture of the artist, he was good in negative characters: the killer in the movie “Two Captains”, a criminal named Mityai from the movie “Lucky Gentlemen”, the undertaker in the movie “Totally Lost”.

“Lucky Gentlemen” was shot in 1971 by director Alexander Sery at the Mosfilm film studio. The script was written by Georgy Danelia and Victoria Tokareva.

In 1972, the film became the leader in Soviet film distribution – it was watched by 65.2 million viewers. The film is one of the most popular Soviet films, many of which became catchphrases.

Anatoly Yabbarov has worked at the State Film Actor Theater since 1996. In 2011, she starred in the TV series “Furtseva” and “Hostages of Love”.
