Basta and Daria Yanina – “Random”

Rapper Basta (Vasily Vakulenko) and singer Daria Yanina recorded the soundtrack for the movie “One”, which will hit theaters on June 9. The tape will tell the unique story of Larisa Savitskaya, who survived a plane crash after falling from a height of five kilometers.

“We wrote the music for the movie with Vadim Kupe, the music producer of the Gazgolder creative association,” said Dmitry Suvorov, director of the Odna movie. – Vasily saw parts of the movie, caught fire with this story and wrote the last song of the movie from scratch. Then we shot a clip, we prepared a special scene where the memories of our heroes come to life. The clip is very touching.

This summer the duo could have another hit – as they had previously with the songs “Youth”, “Zero-zero o’clock” and “The whole district will hear”.

XXXTentacion & Ye – “True Love”

“True Love”, Kanye West’s collaboration with the late XXXTentacion, was released on May 26 through Columbia Records. The song will eventually be featured on the Donda 2 album, which will be uploaded to streaming platforms. Previously, the album could only be played on special Stem Player devices sold by West.

Ramil’ – “Don’t Call Me”

In the song “Don’t call me” rapper Ramil’ (Ramil Alimov) pretended to be a victim of unrequited love. The audience thanked the musician for the captions in the video, as his performance was, as always, (intentionally) illegible. The day after its release, the track topped the VK Music chart, and also entered the top 10 on Yandex.Music and Apple Music.

Jasmine – “Tears of the Old”

With the song “Tears of the Old”, Jasmine invites all girls to say goodbye to the past and step confidently into the future. The video reinterprets the myth of collecting tears in special containers called “tear catchers”. In the video, the director created the image of a fatal beauty who broke many hearts and collected the tears of the former elect.

Smile – “We Don’t Know What Tomorrow Will Bring”

In the spring of 2021, Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood and Tom Skinner announced the formation of The Smile. A year later they released their first album, “A Light For Attracting Attention”. He released the compositions “We Don’t Know What Tomorrow Brings”, “A Hairdryer” and “The Same”, the clips of which were shot in the style of abstract animation. Kendrick Lamar’s fifth studio album, Mr. Released on May 13, “Moral & The Big Steppers” was the most personal for the rapper. In it, the musician analyzes his life, the meaning of family, the surrounding reality and world politics. In the title track “United in Grief”, Lamar describes his 19 and five-year career in the music business, his family reflects mental health, therapy, fame, and money.

The album opens with “I had something in 1855 days” (that’s how long it’s been since Kendrick’s DAMN album). TikTok users made this statement a trend by uploading a video collage showing their changes from a similar period.

Arcade Fire – “Lightning I, II”

The first album in five years by the Canadian band Arcade Fire “We” borrowed the title from Yevgeny Zamyatin’s dystopian novel “We”. The album was the last to feature multi-instrumentalist Will Butler, who left the band. The track list includes 10 tracks, including previously released “The Lightning I”, “The Lightning II” and “Unconditional I (Lookout Kid)”. During the presentation of the album on Saturday Night Live, the musicians performed two new songs – “The Lightning I” and “The Lightning II”.
