The Beatles will release the song “Now and Then”, featuring vocals from musician John Lennon, on November 2. This was reported by New York Post.

All members of the Beatles team were involved in development. The song will also be the band’s first song to be released since 1996’s “Real Love”.

The song “Now and Then” was written by Lennon in the 70s. In 1994, the widow of musician Yoko Ono gave a demo version to Paul McCartney. The Beatles later attempted to complete the recording but were unable to due to technical limitations. The song, recorded on a rather poor quality tape, was actually recreated using artificial intelligence.

Musician George Harrison added the sound of electric and acoustic guitars, Ringo Starr recorded drums, and Paul McCartney contributed bass and piano. “Now and Then” also featured vocals by McCartney and Starr.

Before the single’s release, a 12-minute documentary film, Now and Then – The Last Beatles Song, will be premiered. At the same time, fans of the rock band will be offered expanded versions of the band’s classic collections.
