Russian actress Anna Khilkevich told socialbites.ca about her meeting with UFC President Dana White at the promotional tournament held in the UAE on October 21. According to the college star, White invited him to the event and he handed the organizer a jar of black caviar as a reciprocal gesture.
“Dana and I have been following each other for many years. She recently sent an invitation to a fight to Arthur (the actress’s husband, socialbites.ca) and me. Of course, we couldn’t refuse and were more than happy to accept the invitation. I came to the meeting not empty-handed, but with a jar of black caviar from Russia – he appreciated such a small gesture on our part. When we finally met, Dana made a very pleasant impression on me. Our meeting resembled a friendly small talk; It was like getting to know each other,” Khilkevich shared.
He also admitted that he was pleased with White’s decision to lift the UFC’s national flag ban, which had been in place for more than a year. But at Saturday’s UFC 294, flags are banned once again.
“It was important for me to learn about the decision to lift the ban on athletes participating in competitions under the flag of their own country. I believe that sports should be outside of politics,” Khilkevich said. — UFC is a top-level organization, a lot of people participate, everyone works very harmoniously. Of course, I supported the players playing for our country. And almost everyone met our hopes. The men were great, they fought like tigers. And I really enjoyed what was going on.”
In the main event of the UFC 294 tournament held in the UAE on October 21, UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev defended his title for the second time by knocking out Australian Alex Volkanovski in the first round. In the second important fight of the night, Khamzat Chimaev defeated Kamaru Usman by score.
Previously Anna Khilkevich was given a box of maggots at a family party.
