Science fiction writer Sergei Lukyanenko said he plans to complete work on the last novel in the Patrol series in the coming months. His words convey TASS.
“Most of the book has already been written—more than a third. If you sit down and get the pace well, I’ll have it done in a few months,” he said.
The publication of the novel “Eternal Watch” from the loop was scheduled for May 2022, but was delayed. Lukyanenko stated that he had to “rewrite the whole world in the universe of the novel because of known events.” The exact release date of the book is unknown.
The fantastically cheerful author opened with the book “Night Watch” published in 1998. There are six novels in the series. His most recent book, The Sixth Watch, appeared in bookstores in 2014. In 2004, Timur Bekmambetov shot The Night Watch, and soon the second part.
