Yakut film director Stepan Burnashev, the author of the movie “Aita”, admitted that he was invited to foreign festivals with this movie. The director stated this in an interview. “Vedomosti”.

“By the way, in America the situation is not so harsh. But in Europe everything is very complicated. And in Asian countries, the selection for films from Russia has become stricter and more comprehensive,” the filmmaker noted.
