To the official section upcoming movies Films produced after January 1, 2022 and not released in commercial cinemas or streaming platforms will be eligible to participate in the competition at the Alicante Film Festival. All works must be presented in their original version, but also with Spanish subtitles where filmed in a foreign language. Only one work can be submitted per director, and as many films as deemed appropriate by the production company may be sent to other festivals or exhibitions.
Deadline for submission of works for the presentation of feature films 14 April. As in previous years, the best feature film will win the Golden Tesela award. 3,000 euros.
