Sunny from Teletubbies is expecting a baby

American Jess Smith, who plays the character Sunny in the educational children’s series Teletubbies, is expecting her first child. The 27-year-old girl told about this on Instagram (its owner, Meta, is known as an extremist and is banned in Russia).

Smith showed the ultrasound images to the followers of his page; From these images it can be concluded that she is already heavily pregnant.

“When two become three,” he wrote.

The girl did not specify the gender of the unborn child.

Jess Smith joined Teletubbies in 1997 at the age of nine months when her parents received a casting call for the new programme. The girl had to smile and laugh in front of the camera for half an hour.

Later, the parents found out for which TV project they were shooting. It is known that Smith was embarrassed by his role and refused to participate in various television programs. He told reporters that the main thing for him was to get an education.

The original Teletubbies program began on the BBC in 1997 and ran until 2001. The authors of the idea are Anne Wood and Andy Davenport. In Russia, the show was broadcast on the RTR television channel from 2000 to 2002.

Netflix in 2022 restarted “Teletubbies” with the new Sunny – an Asian-looking doll.
