Pop singer Emaza Gibson has filed a lawsuit against artist Jason Derulo, accusing the man of sexual harassment. This was reported by New York Post.
According to the girl’s lawsuit, in 2021 the musician invited her to participate in a project led by his label Future History and Atlantic Records. They started to cooperate. According to the terms of the contract, the singer was required to record a single with Derulo, prepare a mixtape every four months, and release an album every six months.
Later, the musician began to invite Gibson to meetings unrelated to his professional activities. The girl claims that she constantly rejected offers to drink with the singer, claiming that she did not drink.
But as a result, Gibson agreed to spend time with Derulo, where he was given an “inappropriate amount of alcohol” without his knowledge. According to the girl, the musician did not listen to her refusal and continued to put pressure.
“I am now on the threshold of a new and painful phase of life. I developed anxiety. I was traumatized. I encountered horrific and inhumane work situations. I’m at the point where I’m back to zero and I have nothing,” Gibson said.
According to the singer’s lawyer, Derulo not only violated the terms of their joint collaboration during the collaboration, but also made threats and “shamelessly harassed a young girl who was trying to break into the industry.”
