Singer Andrey Knyazev recorded the song “Tavern” with the characters of the animated series “Smeshariki”. The clip was published on YouTube.
Knyazev performed the soundtrack for the collection of short cartoons “Smeshariki make a movie.” The author of the music and lyrics, Sergei Vasiliev, was inspired by Irish motifs.
“The composition seems to have been written specifically for the Prince and organically recreates the atmosphere of a Gothic fairy tale, where the viewer, along with Smeshariki, meets real wizards, trolls and goblins,” the video description says.
The collection “Smeshariki Make Movies” consists of four short films with references to famous films of various genres (action and comedy, science fiction, musicals and silent films).
Andrey Knyazev began his musical career in 1988 by joining the punk band Korol and Shut. He wrote songs and sang together with Mikhail Gorshenev. In 1996, the band released its first studio album, “A Stone to the Head”. The artist left the group in 2010 due to creative differences. He founded his own team “KnyaZz” in 2011.
