Director of the Alexandra Pakhmutova Foundation Evgeny Malyshko clarified the rumors about the depression of the 90-year-old composer. Quoted RIA News.

29 September Telegram channels published Pakhmutova allegedly fell into a deep depression after losing her husband, poet Nikolai Dobronravov. Malyshko denied the information and asked not to believe the rumors.

“Alexandra Nikolaevna and I just returned from a walk, started going for a little walk, went to Luzhniki. “Alexandra Nikolaevna had many memories… We remembered Nikolai Nikolaevich, how everything was… We surrounded Alexandra Nikolaevna with warmth and care,” he said.

According to Malyshko, Pakhmutova is in very good physical condition. It was announced that the manager of the fund is supported by People’s Artist of the Russian Federation Lev Leshchenko and surgeon Leonid Roshal.

“Everyone is worried, everyone is worried, the support of these people is always available,” Malyshko said.

Alexandra Pakhmutova and Nikolai Dobronravov lived together for 67 years. The songwriter passed away on September 16 after a long and protracted illness.
