The creators of the teen series Stranger Things announced on Twitter that they had started working on the fifth season of the series, after the US writers’ strike ended.
The screenwriters of the Duffer Brothers shared the post “We are back” on their official accounts.
Originally, the project was planned to premiere on the Netflix platform in 2024. However, the shooting of the final season was postponed due to the writers’ strike. As the Duffer brothers admitted, in the final fifth season of the series, ideas that did not make it into the second season will emerge. Also, according to the producers, the new episodes will take place in the 90s.
The fifth season will feature Terminator movie star Linda Hamilton, in addition to the usual cast of Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard and others.
