Director Alexander Sokurov submitted documents to the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation to obtain a distribution certificate for the screening of the film “Fairy Tale”. This was reported by TASS.

“I hope we will be understood, we will get permission and we will be able to show the film, which has been shown, has been shown and continues to be shown in many countries around the world. “I really hope so,” said the director.

He added that the film will soon be screened at film festivals in Tashkent and Latin America.

“This film was based on personal advice and impressions of prominent people in Russia. According to the plot of “Fairy Tale”, four people meet in the afterlife: Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini and Churchill. On the eve of divine judgment, the heroes enjoy memories of their own lives and the power they had and are not ready to part with.

“Tales” premiered at the Locarno Film Festival on August 6.
