The five selected projects were developed by artists Ángel Arias, Rubén GoMo (Radioboy+), Sonsoles Masiá, Lucas Selezio de Souza and collective CaraCoLab (María Ponce and Ana Salom). Projects
At the end of the line related to Angel Arias It aims to build a visual and spatial story through the concept of “other graphics”, a term that describes graphic forms that challenge the institutional paradigm of artistic discourse. The project is nourished by various relationships with the environment, from petroglyphs to medieval inscriptions and urban art elements.
Structure related to Rubén GoMo (Radioboy+) It consists of a personal exploration and approach through art to the author’s identity through the combination of plastic materials, political and social opposition works, references to contemporary culture and advanced technology, vital issues and everyday tools.
way of goddesses related to Sonsoles Masia The return to the earth and the feminine is emphasized through the analysis of different sacred places in the Mediterranean geography, where the artist performed a pictorial ritual at a moment marked by the solar transition.
Plus Ultra related to Lucas Selezio de Souza Through her six textile pieces, the artist reflects the textile industry, globalizing capitalism, precarious work, cheap labor (especially women and children), migration movements and modern colonial exploitation.
