American actor Paul Walker would have turned 50 on September 12. He rose to fame with his role as Brian O’Connor in Fast and Furious. Walker has also appeared in films such as Who’s the Boss?, She’s All That, Skulls, Running Wild, The Set-up, The Paradise Project and Beating Time.
Although he enjoyed acting in films, he studied marine biology in his youth and continued this passion throughout his life. Walker donated money to ocean research and joined an expedition to study great white sharks. As the actor’s friends recall, the meaning of Walker’s life was his 15-year-old daughter Meadow.
On November 30, 2013, Walker and his friend Roger Rodas were returning from a charity event. Rodas lost control while driving and crashed into a lamppost, then a tree, after which the car caught fire. The driver and passenger had no chance of survival. According to the actor’s relatives, he and his daughter were going to buy a Christmas tree that day, and they hurriedly went to him after the event.
