Raymond and Lana met in 1959 in Odessa, where the composer was on tour. At that time, Lana was studying at the Faculty of Philology and working as a tour guide in one of the hotels.
Soon the lovers got married, and in 1962 their daughter Aneta was born, who gave the family two grandchildren: Anna-Marie and Monique-Yvonne.
On August 31, 2023, the couple would be able to celebrate their 61st wedding anniversary.
