The film “Holiday” directed by Anna Kuznetsova was included in the competition program of the “Mayak” film festival. This has been reported TASS referring to the press service of the film screening.
Daria Savelyeva and Polina Kutepova starred in Anna Kuznetsova’s feature film debut, Holidays, and Boris Khlebnikov was the creative producer of the film.
The picture of the Russian-Finnish production tells about a circle of children from a provincial school flying to a theater festival in Sochi.
Kuznetsova’s short film “Six Two Eight” received a diploma from the Kinotavr festival in 2018 and has appeared in performances in France, Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, Estonia and other countries.
The competition program will also feature new films by Semyon Serzin, Lyubov Mulmenko and Dmitry Davydov.
Mayak Film Festival will be held for the first time in Gelendzhik on October 5-9. The show will open with Mikhail Mestetsky’s Birth Year movie starring Eldar Kalimulin, Anastasia Talyzina and Yura Borisov.
