“Today is documentary film hour. Documentaries have a different nature, they are the most important material today. Unfortunately I can’t see it. I understand why I don’t watch feature films; many viewers make claims. And today it is poetry and documentaries that matter,” said Shahnazarov.

At the same time, he explained that he did not make such films, as he expressed his position in the movie White Tiger, which he shot 10 years ago. The director believes that many events in that painting resonate with today.
