Ukrainian singer Vera Brezhneva is preparing for a concert in Latvia. She posted a new makeup-free photo from the rehearsal on Instagram (the owner, Meta, was considered an extremist in Russia and was banned).
“We finished the rehearsal yesterday and such a miracle happened on the last song,” said the singer, pointing to the rainbow that appeared when the VIA Gra group’s hit “Ray is my favourite” was playing in Stories.
He took this as a good sign.
“I hope this means that the heavens bless us and there will be good weather in Riga on August 25,” Brezhneva wrote.
In June 2023, the singer announced that her concert tour was interrupted “due to some circumstances”. It is cancelled performances in Spain and Portugal.
After the start of the special military operation (SVO), Brezhneva left Russia with her husband Konstantin Meladze. The couple put up for sale a mansion in the Moscow region in February 2023. Now the singer performs abroad. In June 2023, artist Laima Vaikule said that Brezhnev is in Latvia.
