Singer Leonid Agutin said in an interview with Nadezhda Yay that original content has become an advantage of the Star Factory show over other programs.
Agutin said that not a single musical program, except “Factory”, could create a star on Russian television. He explained in the show that the songs were written for certain artists, so the young artists started dating with their first hits after the project.
“This is an aquarium where people look, enjoy watching the life of these fish and become fans before they are released,” the musician said.
Agutin believes that this is why many of the Voice’s finalists have not received the fame they deserve.
“The path to the best artists is a fig in cover groups. You don’t sing your songs. This is a restaurant repertoire. You are not just a restaurant singer, you are a good restaurant singer. The finale of “Voice” passes and everything ends the next day,” said the artist.
