The actress emphasized that she is a member of the SAG-AFTRA alliance and that it is time to show solidarity with the community as an actress. At the same time, she decided to support her colleagues on the street, according to the girl, who said that the members of the Actors Guild did not have to go to rallies.
“I began to hesitate … because a Russian woman is afraid of protests. But she gained curiosity and a desire to be a responsible citizen,” she said.
Mashkova added that she could not understand why the police did not respond to the peaceful protests.
“What a beautiful day it was but one thing I don’t understand – no one was beaten by the riot police today. <…> I wish such an experience to my hometown, ”the girl summed up.
