Located next to the Universal site, the theme park in Los Angeles has announced the start of construction on a rollercoaster ride based on the Fast & Furious series that has spanned over two decades. According to the announcement, the ride will feature “innovative and technological advances” that have never been used to create rides like this before.
The state-of-the-art roller coaster system will allow guests to immerse themselves in the film’s universe, in keeping with Universal Destinations & Experiences’ years of experience designing cutting-edge roller coasters.
Universal Studios Hollywood is also promoting another Fast & Furious attraction.
3D glasses are used at the attraction, which was first opened in 2015. “The Drivers” takes part in a highway chase involving Dominic Toretto Vin Diesel and his crew, as well as Luke Evans’ Owen Shaw.
The new roller coasters will be part of an expanding Hollywood toy line that includes the latest addition to Super Nintendo World, an interactive and terrestrial world.
