In “Lenkom”, dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the poet’s birth, Alexei Frandetti will perform the performance of “Mayakovsky”. The music and lyrics of the production were written by rapper Basta (real name Vasily Vakulenko). journal reports “Theatre”.

The production will focus on the life of Mayakovsky. The creators call the performance a “musical drama”, in which the poetry and biography of the famous poet formed the basis of the new stage language and genre.
Vakulenko admitted that her passion for Mayakovsky’s work began after participating in a documentary about the poet.
