Tas Sargsyan, co-founder and former host of the Comedy Club show, was almost beaten in Yerevan. This was reported by Telegram channel Basis.

It was recorded that the incident occurred on June 20, on the anniversary of the establishment of the Arı stand-up club. After the performance, one of the audience came to Sarkisyan. During the interview, the man admitted that he works as a teacher of Russian in one of the universities of Yerevan. To this Tash joked: “If a Russian teacher has such an accent, what can we expect from students?”

According to the news of the Telegram channel, after the joke, the stranger tried to quarrel with Sarkisyan with his friends. His friends came to the comedian’s defense. As a result, the attack was averted.

Tash Sarkisyan started his career in 1996 when he entered the KVN Major League with his team. In 1997, the “New Armenians” team became the champion of the Major League. The comedian founded the Comedy Club in 2005 with Artashes Sarkisyan, Artur Janibekyan and Artak Gasparyan. The humorist took charge of the project, but did not take part in the miniatures. He stopped hosting the show in 2010, being replaced by Pavel Volya.
