Actress Anna Banshchikova told YouTube interview Svetlana Bondarchuk tells how the artist became a double for Angelica Varum at one of her concerts. This happened even before Banshchikova played the role of a singer in the TV series Kamenskaya.
“At that time, Max and I (co-founder of the secret group Maxim Leonidov – about socialbites.ca) were together and went to different concerts. I remember that day there was some kind of combined concert – everyone performed under plus and duet. Max seems to be singing [Натальей] Vetlitskaya and Dima [Маликов] – With Varum. Masha (real name Varum, – about “socialbites.ca”) for some reason did not come. And here we are sitting in the dressing room, Dima comes and says, “What should I do?” – the player reproduced the situation.
According to her, one of the artists jokingly pointed to her because she looked like Anzhelika Varum. As a result, at this concert she really had to change the singer: “I had a leopard-lined raincoat that we took out. They made me up a little bit, and we rehearsed the dance with Dima. I remember it was a huge stadium back then.”
Banshchikova added that the audience did not see the difference: she securely signed people after the concert, and then the fans yelled “Angela, we love you,” as they got on the bus that left the site.
