American actor Joel McHale has confirmed that Community sitcom co-star Donald Glover will be returning as Troy Barnes in the series’ feature-length sequel. He talked about this in an interview with the host of the Let’s Talk Off Camera podcast. collider.

“We should start filming soon, although he hasn’t seen the script,” Glover said in an interview with GQ in April. At the same time, Glover, who played in the first five seasons of “Community,” was not named in the original announcement of the film by Peacock streaming service. Online cinema still has not confirmed its involvement in the project.

Thus, the only member of the original cast of “Community” who did not return in the sequel was Chevy Chase, who left the show in season five.

The plot revolves around a group of adult students studying at a community college. The show lasted a total of six seasons.
