Streaming service MGM+ has renewed the sci-fi horror series Outside, scheduled for release in 2024, for a third season. It has been reported deadline.
According to the online movie theater itself (until recently, it was called Epix), From Outside is the platform’s second most-watched series, after The Godfather of Harlem, the crime drama about New York mobster Bumpy Johnson and starring Forest Whittaker.
From Outside was released on February 20, 2022. The screening of the second season ended on June 25, 2023.
The series is about a mysterious town surrounded by forests, where you can enter but impossible to get out of. Many secrets are hidden inside the city, and scary creatures rush outside at night. In the center of the plot – the adventures of the self-appointed sheriff and the real mayor of the city, Boyd Stevens (Harold Perrineau).
Outside producers include Lost’s Jack Bender and Jeff Pinkner, and brothers Anthony and Joe Russo. (“Avengers: Endgame”).
