Youth drama “Reservation Dogs” will conclude with its third season. This was announced by the creator of the series, Sterling Harjo, on his Instagram page (Meta’s owner was considered extremist and banned in Russia), his words were quoted by the publication. Hollywood Reporter.

Harjo described her decision to end the show as the right decision from a creative perspective.

“I always knew what the end of the story would be, I just didn’t know when it would come. As we continue to tell stories and write screenplays this season, the producers [Вайтити] and I realized that the third season finale was the perfect finale sherry“, – said the author of the show.

The ten-episode third season will premiere on the Hulu streaming service on August 2.

Reservation Dogs, Harjo and The Real Ghouls (or What We Do in the Shadows) is a teen comedy-drama co-written by Taika Watiti, director of Jojo Rabbit and Thor: Ragnarok. The plot revolves around a group of men living on a Native American reservation in Oklahoma. After the death of one of the teenagers, the rest decide to make money at all costs (including illegal means) to leave their forest and move to sunny California.

The series received rave reviews from viewers and critics, and was nominated for two Independent Spirit Awards and a Golden Globe and Critics’ Choice Television Award. Reservation Dogs was the first project to feature an all-Indian team of writers, directors, and lead actors. The series has become one of the most watched streaming shows on Hulu and the FX channel.
