Actress Eva Longoria admitted in an interview Hollywood ReporterEncountered serious mental problems while filming Desperate Housewives.
The reason for the deterioration of the mental state was a tight shooting schedule, which lasted 11 months a year. Longoria stated that she developed post-traumatic stress disorder because of her job.
“I thought I would be out of breath. I had PTSD because of 24 episodes a year,” the actress admitted.
According to Longoria, she gave up on all other projects due to her heavy workload.
Eva Longoria is best known for her role as Gabrielle Solis on the television series Desperate Housewives. The tragicomedy is about four friends living in a quiet suburb of America. Each of them has their own problems, secrets and intrigues.
