Stars David Korenswet and Rachel Brosnahan will star in James Gunn’s new movie Superman: Legacy. It has been reported Hollywood Reporter.
In the reboot of the iconic superhero story, Corenswet will reportedly play Superman, while Brosnahan will reportedly play his girlfriend, reporter Lois Lane.
On June 17, Gunn auditioned for the lead roles. The director divided the six main contestants into three couples and asked them to play scenes from the upcoming movie. Gunn has reportedly asked artists to cast the cast in such pairs: Nicholas Hoult and Rachel Brosnahan, Tom Brittney and Phoebe Dynevor, David Corenswet and Emma Mackie.
Also, brothers Alexander and Bill Skarsgård, Nicholas Hoult and other artists claim to be the main antagonists of Lex Luthor’s movie. Online assumedBryan Cranston would be a good fit for the role, but the Breaking Bad star found the idea too mundane.
Superman: Legacy will hit theaters on July 11, 2025. James Gunn stated that he is already preparing for filming. According to him, the costumes, venue design and much more are already ready for the shooting of the movie. The script of the future film is also fully written.
