Apple TV+ presented the first trailer for the movie Bubble Plush, about the creation of a well-known toy brand, on its YouTube channel.
The rise and fall of billionaire and Beanie Babies toy company founder Ty Warner is central to the film’s plot. The company’s products gained immense popularity in America in the 90s, which allowed it to become one of the most profitable manufacturers of toy plush products.
The main roles in the film were played by the unknown Zach Galifianakis (“Hangover”) and Elizabeth Banks (“The Hunger Games”). The movie also stars Sarah Snook (The Heirs) and Geraldine Viswanathan (The Miracle Workers). The film was shot by debutant directors Kristin Gore (Futurama) and Damian Kulash.
Bubble Plush will have a limited theatrical release in the US on July 21. After that, the picture will appear on the Apple TV + streaming service on July 28.
