Activists from Uzbekistan demanded the cancellation of the concert of Russian singer Grigory Leps in Tashkent. In this respect informs Press.kz.

In particular, the Uzbek blogger Mirzo Zominiy, who launched the hashtag #LepsKerakmas (#LepsNeNuzhen) on his Telegram channel and called for its distribution, called for its cancellation. He explains his protest by Leps’ position on the Russian special operation in Ukraine.

“Dear Uzbeks, be on top of this. Do not let the bloodthirsty car refuel,” wrote Mirzo Zominiy.

According to Kazakhstani media, the activists demanded that the concert be canceled because of Leps’ promise to award prizes for destroyed tanks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The director of the artist told socialbites.ca that the singer is not upset and will continue to support the Russian army, but does not plan to come to Kazakhstan with concerts.
