State Duma Deputy Ekaterina Stenyakina demanded that the concert of Diana Arbenina, soloist of the group “Night Snipers”, be canceled in Rostov-on-Don. This was reported by Telegram channel Basis.

Stenyakina wrote a letter to the director of the Ekspres culture and sports complex, where Arbenina’s concert will be held, demanding the cancellation of the event. The deputy said that the artist criticizes the special military operation in Ukraine and opposes the annexation of Crimea in 2014. According to Stenyakina, Arbenina does not support NVO and refuses to perform in Donbass. She described the singer as “separatist-minded”.

“I think, and my voters, artists, musicians and other artists who speak publicly with such rhetoric, have no moral right to make money from their concert activities in Russia,” Stenyakina said.

Arbenina’s concert in Rostov-on-Don will take place on June 27, 2023.

On June 5, Arbenina announced that she has postponed her performances scheduled for the first half of June. It was supposed to take place on June 7 in Nalchik, on June 8 in Rostov-on-Don, on June 12 in Krasnodar and on June 13 in Volgograd. The singer admitted that he could not organize an event due to his health condition. Concerts are rescheduled for the second half of June. There will be a performance on June 27 in Rostov-on-Don, June 28 – in Krasnodar, June 29 – in Sochi.

Previously Arbenina fell down the stairs, injuring her spine.
