Former soloist of SEREBRO Seryabkina talked about discrimination in show business

Singer Olga Seryabkina admitted in an interview with the broadcast people talkwho do not feel the discrimination in show business.

Seryabkina noted that at the moment men occupy leading positions in the top rows. However, the singer believes this is due to vocal fashion rather than discrimination against women.

“Music also has its own trends and trends, and in a sense, it’s time for male artists,” said the artist.

Seryabkina gained fame after working in the SEREBRO group. The artist joined the team in 2006. The team placed third at the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest for the first time. In 2009, the band released their first studio album, Opium Roz. Seryabkina is the author of many SEREBRO songs, including such hits as “Mama Lyuba”, “Mimimi”, “There is not enough”, “I will not give up on you.” In 2018, the artist announced his desire to leave the group. He released his solo album Orca in the Sky in 2019.

Seryabkina is also developing her acting career. She starred in the movie The Best Day Ever in 2015.
