Actress Olga Volkova said in an interview FANthat he is friends and often speaks with the artist Alexander Demyanenko.
Volkova admitted that she has only bright memories of Demyanenko. The actress said she was shocked by the intelligence and scale of her colleague’s personality. According to the star, the artist was fearless in acting tests.
Volkova remembered Demyanenko as an incredibly thin and deep person, without arrogance in her. “It’s interesting to chat with someone like that, at least about literature, at least about anything else, about anything. There was a sense of self-irony that saved the actor, ”the actress shared.
Volkova admitted that she was very saddened by the death of Demyanenko. The actor died on August 22, 1999 at the age of 62.
Demyanenko is best known for his role as Shurik in the comedies “Operation Y” and Shurik’s Other Adventures, “Prisoner of the Caucasus or Shurik’s New Adventures” and “Ivan Vasilievich Changes His Profession” directed by Leodnid Gaidai.
