It started as a gathering of friends with creative concerns to learn about the history of county towns during the Civil War. Material was piling up and interest was growing. Two years later, audiovisual producer Sam Molina, photographers Sento MM and Diego Jamon, and poet Enrique Morte, reunite as a collective 13 year old boy they created Catharsis, a dystopian creative proposal that they reconstruct phantom images of the contest “although in reality all wars“, in the towns of the state.

And they did it with photos but not for use. They searched the place, the environment and scenes recreated with a theatrical character that they recorded on video and then photographed. The actors, family and friends formed the cast that brought these images to life, with costumes and props inspired by paintings by Caravaggio, Vermeer or Vermeer. Alicante filmmaker Daniel Chaguaceda is preparing a documentary based on the experiences of this group to realize the exhibition.
