The premiere of the film performance “Yusha, Yur, Yurena and Alexander Sergeyevich” will be held at the “Rassvet” Palace of Culture. This was reported to socialbites.ca in the press service of the production.
The film performance will be screened on 7 and 8 June. The producer of the project is Lina Arifulina, known for her work in the “Star Factory”.
The production combines the lives of writer Yuri Tynyanov, author of the novel The Death of the Vizier-Mukhtar, and the protagonist Alexander Griboyedov. Andrey Stadnikov, winner of the Golden Mask National Theater Award and the Tom Stoppard Award, and Alisa Kretova, a graduate of Dmitry Brusnikin’s workshop at the Moscow Art Theater School, are working on the film performance.
The two main roles of the writers will be performed by actor Pyotr Skvortsov (Cavalry, Chapaev and Void performances, Acid, T-34, Kept Women films). Also in the performance are Aina Arifulina, Maria Melik-Pasadanova, Gleb Bochkov, Ivan Semenov, David Kaas, Zakhar Nasakin, Yuri Mezhevich.
Stage designer Olga Suslova created the space of 1920s Soviet cinema for performance. A movie screen turns white before the audience, surrounded by a venomous emerald veil that divides the world into fantasy and reality.
