Lucasfilm has released a new trailer for Indiana Jones and the Wheel of Fate, directed by James Mangold and starring Harrison Ford and Phoebe Waller-Bridge. One minute video titled “Theft” (“To steal”), available on the film company’s official YouTube channel.
As Collider notes, the video, whose soundtrack is the song “Sympathy for the Devil” by The Rolling Stones, shows the main treasure of the tape – the Wheel of Fate, which, according to legend, was discovered by Archimedes.
The action of the movie “Indiana Jones and the Wheel of Fate” takes place in 1969, at the height of the Cold War and the space race between the USA and the USSR. In the story, an elderly archaeologist-adventurer Indiana Jones and her goddaughter Helena come face-to-face with former Nazis recruited by the US government to work for NASA.
The tape starred Mads Mikkelsen, Antonio Banderas, John Rhys-Davies, and Toby Jones, along with Ford and Waller-Bridge.
The film premiered on May 18 at the 76th Cannes Film Festival. After that, the picture received 50% “freshness” in the review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes (the rating is based on 38 publications). The fifth movie about Indiana Jones will hit theaters on June 30.
Previously Lucasfilms president Kathleen Kennedy assured him that the studio would not replace actor Harrison Ford in any possible Indiana Jones projects.
