Paramount Pictures has released a new poster for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mayhem. The studio also announced a new date for the release of the tape in American rentals – the picture will appear on the screens on August 2, two days before the previously scheduled date.
The plot of the cartoon revolves around four mutant turtles who, after living in the sewers of New York, come to the surface and do heroic deeds in hopes that by doing so they will win the hearts of the townspeople. With the help of their new friend April O’Neil, the heroes begin to face a mysterious crime syndicate and an army of mutants.
Mutant Rage, Mitchells vs. It was directed by Jeff Rowe, one of the creators of Machine. The film is written by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, who previously worked together on the comedies Super Peppers, Pineapple Express, End of the World 2013: Hollywood Apocalypse, and The Interview.
The new Ninja Turtles will be a reboot of the series based on the comic book series of the same name. It is noteworthy that for the first time in the history of the adaptation of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” the main characters of the tape were entrusted with voicing young actors.
Actor Jackie Chan provided the voice of Splinter, the mutant mouse, the turtle mentor. The painting also included Rose Byrne, Seth Rogen, John Cena, Ice Cube, Paul Rudd, Maya Rudolph and rapper Post Malone.
May the Mutants premiere at the International Animated Film Festival in Annecy on 12 June.
