Lawyer Sergei Zhorin said in an interview: TASSthat his client, rapper Alisher Morgenstern (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation), had not violated the rules regarding the activities of a foreign agent.
According to Zhorin, the protocol drawn up regarding the musician is illegal, since at the time of the crime Morgenstern was not in Moscow, as stated in the protocol, but abroad. Everyone knows that Alisher is not in Russia, in February 2023 he deliberately failed to fly to Moscow to commit an administrative offense and return. “It’s easy to prove it by making a request to the federal border service,” he said.
Zhorin explained that allegedly this is not the only violation of protocol.
Regarding the administrative action brought against Morgenstern, recognized May 23. It was stated that for not marking a foreign agent in posts on social networks, he will be fined 500 thousand rubles.
