French actress Marion Cotillard speaks deadline She spoke about sexual harassment in Hollywood.
At the Cannes Film Festival, the artist presented the film “Little Girl in Blue”, dedicated to harassment. Cotillard acknowledged that this issue was close to him. She also said that her mother and grandmother were abused for a period of time.
“Many women in this world have had these types of relationships with men. My mother and grandmother had very difficult relationships and sexual abuse with men. I was very impressed with this project because it is the path to recovery,” said Cotillard.
The artist noted that she also encountered such men and found herself in situations where she “shouldn’t be”. According to Cotillard, the modern film industry still employs “sick men” who use young actors and actresses to satisfy their sexual needs.
Previously Brooke Shields admitted she “miraculously survived” after being raped.
