‘Running Man’ star Jim Brown dies at 87

“Running Man” star, artist and professional athlete Jim Brown, in which he co-starred with Arnold Schwarzenegger, has died at the age of 88.

Brown’s cause of death was not disclosed, but his wife wrote on social media that he “died peacefully at our home in Los Angeles last night.”

Brown was an American football star. He broke many records during his nine-year professional career in the National Football League with the Cleveland Browns. In 2002, Sporting News magazine named Brown the greatest professional football player in history.

Brown started his acting career in the late 60s. Among his most famous projects are the film adaptation of Stephen King’s novel The Running Man, Tim Burton’s satirical film Mars Attacks! and the sports drama “Any Sunday” with Al Pacino.
