Actor and director Rustam Urazaev died at the age of 65. The artist’s death was announced on Facebook by his colleague Rashid Malikov (the owner of Meta was considered an extremist and banned in Russia).
Urazaev fought cancer for a long time. The actress admitted that in April 2023 she had passed the third stage of cancer. He was undergoing treatment in one of the Moscow clinics.
Malikov honored the memory of a colleague in social networks. “Urazaev remained a naive youth with a high sense of justice until the end of his days. Yesterday at home for some reason I opened an old video – a family celebration in 1994. In this video, he was cheerful, witty, gentleman, dazzlingly handsome. He’s gone today. Goodbye my friend. Your place in my soul will not be filled by anyone, ”wrote the director.
Rustam Urazaev was born on January 21, 1958. He graduated from the Art School (design and decoration department) and then the history department of Tashkent State University.
Urazaev began his acting career in 1974. He will play more than 50 roles in theater and cinema. She acted in films such as Capercaillie, Witch Doctor, Alias Albanian, Trail, Sword, Women’s Stories, The Fifth Guard.
