The Russian Ministry of Justice added Galkin to its list of foreign agents on September 16 last year. The ministry announced the decision when the showman received funding from Kiev “while conducting political activities”. The artist himself said that he “does not consider himself a foreign agent.” His wife, Alla Pugacheva, applied to the Russian law enforcement agencies after the Ministry of Justice’s announcement and referred her to foreign agents.
In September, Galkin was no longer in Russia – from February 2022 he gave concerts abroad, after which he moved to Israel. Pugacheva went to him with her children, who now attend a Russian-Jewish school. It is known that training in it costs 600 thousand rubles. per child per year

Zemfira, who left Russia just after the start of the SVO a day before Galkin, applied to the Ministry of Justice, Zamoskvoretsky court, with the same request.

The singer was included in the list of foreign agents on February 10 this year. The Ministry of Justice justified its decision by the fact that Zemfira openly supported Ukraine with concerts in hostile countries with calls against special operation. In addition, the ministry claims to receive support from “outside sources”, she said.
He then thanked his fans for their support and conveyed his best wishes to his listeners, saying “I’m fine”. She wrote this on her Instagram (Meta’s owner was considered an extremist and banned in Russia).
